I love this job, I love the people I work with and I love the daft and unpredictable challenges this crazy industry throws at me. The commercial world is mad, it’s exciting, it’s full of extraordinary opportunities and it’s simply what I love doing. I'm a lucky man!
Nick’s long history of visual effects direction has led him on a wondrous journey through almost every facet of the commercial film making process. Starting as a 3D animator and compositor at the UK’s Yorkshire Television, Nick worked on some of the most loved UK dramas including A Touch of Frost, The Royals and Heartbeat.
Jump ahead a few years and his landscape has shifted from creating longform visual effects, to directing commercials with a heavy visual effects bent, whether it's cars or characters; photorealistic or fantastical.
Nick’s background as a Live Action Director, Visual Effects Supervisor and VFX Artist allows him to work side by side with both crews and visual effects artists alike.
In and amongst his global body of work for automotive clients such as the UK’s ‘Vauxhall’, China’s ‘Chery’, Japan’s ‘Kubota’ and Australia’s ‘Ford’ is a huge variety of clients such as Google, Virgin, Resorts World and Hungry Jack’s (Burger King).
